1. Online application form Submit an online application form after signing up on web site.

• Passport must have at least 2 years remaining validity
4. Study plan Within 1 page of A4 size in Korean or English or Chinese (Please write it in typing, not by hand.)
• Please sincerely write self introduction, purpose of learning Korean, and plans after studying Korea.
5. Academic Certificate
(Certificate of graduation, Academic transcript)
Applicants who has obtained a degree
in a country other than China
1) Original copy of final school graduation certificate or Diploma (If the original document is in a language other than Korean, English, or Chinese, a certified translation must be submitted.)
2) Original transcript of all final school records (If the original document is in a language other than Korean, English, or Chinese, a certified translation must be submitted.)
3) For D4 visa, for 21 countries, submit original Apostille certificate of graduation and transcript of the last school. For countries that are not members of Apostille, consular authentication must be obtained from the Korean consulate.

② Submit documents issued within 6 months from the application deadline.
Applicants who has obtained a degree in China
(Except Taiwan and Hong Kong)
1) Scanned version of official Certificate of Graduation from the most recent school attended
2) Scanned version of official Academic transcript of all grade from the most recent school attended
3) Attached after downloading the online version of Ministry of Education verification report from Verification report web site.(http://www.chsi.com.cn or http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn)
• Applicants from non-general high schools including vocational schools, technical schools in China have to submit notarized and original Apostille of certificate of graduation and official academic transcript.
6. Certificate of Bank statement 2 copies of certificate of bank statement minimum balance of KRW 10,000,000(* Only 1 of the 2 copies should be submitted to the International institute; the other copy must be submitted to the consulate when applying for a visa.)
① If the original document is in a language other than Korean, English, or Chinese, a certified translation must be submitted with the original document.
② Transaction details are not accepted. Please submit a document stating the exact balance.
③ Please submit the documents issued within 30days of the date of application.
④ For Applicants from Mainland China, a balance must be hold more than nine months from document submission date.
⑤ In case of submitting parents’ bank statement, must additionally submit certificate of kinship or birth certificate that proves family relationship.
⑥ Applicants who already have an Alien Registration Card with another visa but want to change it to D-4-1 should submit the Korean bank account statement under their own name. A foreign bank statement is not allowed in this case.
 
7. Kinship certificate Applicants from 21 countries other than China 1) Original copy of family relationship certificate
• If applicants’ parents are divorced or dead, please submit additional documents to prove this fact.
• Only certificate from the government is valid.
• Certificate must be issued within three months from deadline.

2) Copies of applicants’ and parents’ domestic ID or passport
3) Original document of parents’ Certificate of Employment and Income Certificate
• The parents’ Certificate of Employment and Income Certificate must be submitted in the original form issued by current workplace. (Only documents issued within 3 months of the application are accepted.)
   
Chinese applicants 1) A copy of household register(Hukou) : The Hukou with applicant and parents listed
① If the student and the parent are not listed in one household register, please submit an additional Certificate of Kinship.
② If applicants’ parents are divorced or dead, please submit additional documents to prove this fact.
③ Only certificate from the government is valid.

2) Copies of applicants’ and parents’ domestic ID or passport
3) Original document of parents’ Certificate of Employment and Income Certificate
• The parents’ Certificate of Employment and Income Certificate must be submitted in the original form issued by current workplace. (Only documents issued within 3 months of the application are accepted.)
   
8. Hiatus proof * If applicable
If the applicant is not a graduate of the current year, submit proof of the vacancy period, such as a career certificate or certificate of enrollment after graduation

9. Certificate of Health Insurance Insurance Certificate
• Valid Insurance Required for a Minimum of 6 Months(Not 180days) from Your Arrival Date in Korea (Must Be Usable in Korea)

Insurance·Health Insurance Eligibility Confirmation Letter
• Other visa holders must obtain and submit a Health Insurance Eligibility certificate to prove their current enrollment in the National Health Insurance.


10. ARC Copy of front and back side of ARC
• Applicants currently who are holding Visa in Korea must submit copy of front and back side of ARC
 
  • Only accept files that have the specified file name.
  • • Please write the name of file on required files as ‘file name + applicants’ name on passport’ and submit it in PDF file (photos as JPG file).
    (ex. 1. Application form(applicants’ name on passport), 2. Photo(applicants’ name on passport), etc.)
Precautions when submitting original documents by mail
  • All documents will not be returned. If it is difficult to submit the original documents, please submit a copy. Any false information in the application, including forgery or alteration of submitted documents, or failure to meet the application requirements, will result in the cancellation and retraction of offer of admission, regardless of when discovered. In cases where admission is canceled because of any above circumstances, any fees or tuition payments will not be refunded.
    ※ All documents must arrive within the submission period.
    The Certificate of Admission for Visa application will be sent after receiving the original document.
    If applicants do not send the original document, we could not issue the Certificate of Admission.
